Weldon Wagon Road

Up in the hills above Husum and the White Salmon River in Washington, the old Weldon Wagon road winds into and through the White Salmon Oak Natural Resources Conservation Area. It is a historic wagon road built in the early 1900’s as a line to transport apples to market. Now it’s a 2.5 mile route to enjoy the hills and (in spring) wildflower blooms. It was calm and dreamy today with clouds hanging low about the hills.
